Standing Stones Ceremony

The Truth & Reconciliation Study Group has invited Dr. Kenneth Wallace, Indigenous Christian worship leader to lead us in a Standing Stone Ceremony.  This ceremony was originally developed at All Saints Cathedral, Edmonton as a means of promoting reconciliation between Indigenous and Non-indigenous people, infusing Cree symbols into Christian ceremony.  There will be smudging, prayers for healing and the sharing of Bannock and berries.  For a further discussion of the ceremony, visit:  https://edmonton.anglican.ca/what-we-do/indigenous-ministries/pages/standing-stones-sacred-gatherings

All are invited to join us, weather permitting in the church yard.  In case of rain we will meet in the parish hall.  Please sign up on the list in the narthex or email Lori Dolloff to ensure we have enough resources for everyone to participate fully.
