Standing Stones Ceremony

The Truth & Reconciliation Study Group has invited Dr. Kenneth Wallace, Indigenous Christian worship leader to lead us in a Standing Stone Ceremony. This ceremony was originally developed at All Saints Cathedral, Edmonton as a means of promoting reconciliation between Indigenous and Non-indigenous people, infusing Cree symbols into Christian ceremony. There will be smudging, prayers for healing and the sharing of Bannock and berries.
