Join The Rt. Rev. Andrew Asbil and members of the Bishop’s Company on October 17th, 2025 to celebrate the work of our clergy and support them in times of need. Funds raised by The Bishop’s Company support the Bishop of Toronto’s ministries, provides emergency care for clergy in need, and gives bursaries for religious education.

Cocktail reception at 6pm, dinner, musical act and guest speaker at 7pm.
Early Bird Pricing from September 5-19, 2025: $175 per person, $1,600 for a table of ten -firm dates, no exceptions
Pricing from September 20 to October 15: $190 per person, $1,750 for a table of ten
Our speaker for this evening is The Hon. Dan Carter. Elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, Mayor Carter is serving his second term as Mayor of Oshawa. Before becoming Oshawa’s Mayor, he served as a City and Regional Councillor. The Mayor is an ex-officio member of all City Standing Committees. At the Region of Durham, he currently serves as a member of the Health and Social Services Committee and the Police Services Board. Active in community development initiatives, Mayor Carter lends his time to many philanthropic endeavours and has a deep commitment to making a difference to those in need. Mayor Carter takes his role as Mayor of Oshawa to heart and feels blessed that he has been given a second term to serve and help people in his community. He is committed to leading in a way that will bring out the best in all of us and be the light that brings hope, optimism, and pride to his great city.
The evening will be hosted by The Rev. Denise Byard, Assistant Curate of St. Luke, Peterborough and St. John, Ida.
Our musical performance will be led by Deb Whalen-Blaize, offering a selection of familiar tunes you may have heard on the radio, that hit a little different within the context of our faith.
